Red Cross Donations

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am sending this letter to keep you updated with what we are doing. We didn't recieve alot of donations for the red cross and we are sorry about that. But we have managed to raise the awareness for your charity so that might help your charity alittle bit. I think we didn't recieve many donations because people are embarast to take old clothes and toys in school for charity. I think we shoud try doing it outside of school so people are not with their school mats sop they dont need to be embarast. We have also viseted Browick primary school to raise awareness at a different school and have younger students donating.

    Yours Faithfuly BMoore
This is our logo for the Red Cross, the four C's mean 'Cool Crazy Converse Campaign' (please note i didnt make the name). but i did make the logo.

Red Cross Man

me and Elliot made this cartoon man to put on ur poster to raise awareness for the Red Cross we call him 'Red Cross Man' its linked to our play that we done for browick primary school. we did put it on a poster but even though we done a poster and raised awareness we didn't get many donations.

artefacts

In artefacts iv decided to change the plan abit no im going to use paper mache and clay for the shape of the shoe. the clay is for the front and its in a shape of the mouth the plan will be on the blog soon as soon as i get the camra to upload it.

charity campaign

Today we watched a few clips from the show 'Mary Queen of shops' Mary Portas went into charity shops and raised the awareness of what people give to charity and it shows people give away a lot of rubbish what haven't even been washed so they have to be dumped. I think its disgusting how much rubbish is given to charity and i cant understand how people can give away what they do. Now we all know how much rubbish is given to charity shops we can try to raise more awareness about it and try to get people to give away useful clothes and toys etc.

How to make felt.

Step by step guide on how to do felting.

Equipment:
  • Untreated natural died wool.
  • A plastic tray.
  • Bowl of boiling soapy water.
  • Bubble rap.
  • Friction proof mat.
How to make it.First take the untreated natural wool and gently take thin bits out and place them length ways in a tray. After you have done the bottom layer proceed to the next layer, do exactly the same thing but when you place the wool down width ways.
once you have done 3 or 4 layers you can then get your hot soapy water and pour it into the tray with your wool. Make sure all of the wool is wet, then get your bubble reap, place it on top of your wet wool and gently massage the bubble rap and the wool together.
After a while the wool should have moulded together, so when you pick it up it shouldn’t fall apart, if so get you friction proof mat and take your moulded together wool place it on the mat, get the bubble rap and start to massage again.
Soon the wool should start to get harder and you shouldn’t be able to pull them apart. Once you have done this, ring it out and set it down to dry for an hour.
